Facing any of these?

The three WooCommerce problems that end on Shopify.

These are the reasons store owners give most often for leaving WooCommerce. Here's what changes after the move, and what I handle for you.

Problem 1

“A plugin update broke my checkout.”

A WooCommerce store runs on WordPress, a theme and often 20 or more plugins, each updated on its own schedule. One clash can take the cart down. On Shopify, checkout, payments, SEO basics and abandoned cart emails are built in, and Shopify runs the updates for you.

  • Every plugin listed with the built-in feature or app that replaces it
  • Only the apps you need, set up and tested before launch
  • Custom features rebuilt or quoted in your audit, never left out
Problem 2

“My site slows down or goes offline when it gets busy.”

On WooCommerce, speed depends on your hosting plan, your theme and every plugin you add, and the busiest days are when it's most likely to struggle. Shopify's hosting is built for Black Friday traffic, so you never upgrade a server or install a caching plugin again.

  • A fast Shopify theme set up to match your brand
  • Images and apps kept lean so mobile pages load quickly
  • Launch planned for your quietest hour, never before a big sale
Problem 3

“Hosting, plugins and developers keep adding up.”

WooCommerce is free to install, but running it isn't. Hosting, premium plugin licences, security tools and developer hours arrive as separate bills, and even a banner change can need a developer. On Shopify, one plan covers the essentials and your team edits products, pages and sales themselves.

  • Your audit compares your real monthly costs, plugin by plugin
  • Staff accounts set up so your team can edit without a developer
  • A short handover so you know where everything lives

How it works

From WooCommerce to Shopify, in three steps.

Free store audit

Send me your store URL. Within one business day you get a list of what moves, which plugins need a Shopify app, and a fixed price.

Migrate and rebuild

I move your products, customers and orders, and set up your Shopify theme to match your brand. Your WooCommerce store keeps selling the whole time.

Launch, SEO-safe

Every old URL is redirected, test orders are placed, and the domain switches over at your quietest hour. Then I stay on call for 30 days.

What moves over

Everything your store runs on. Nothing left behind.

Products and variants

Titles, descriptions, prices, SKUs, stock levels, sizes and colours, with every product image.

Categories and tags

Your WooCommerce categories become Shopify collections, so shoppers find things where they expect.

Customers

Names, emails, addresses and marketing consent. Customers get an invite to activate their new account.

Order history

Past orders move over, so you and your customers keep a full purchase record.

SEO and redirects

Page titles, meta descriptions and a 301 redirect for every old URL, so your Google rankings follow you.

Pages, blog and reviews

About pages, blog posts and product reviews, rebuilt on Shopify and linked up again.

What doesn't move on its own, and how I handle it

Every migration has a few things no tool can copy. Here's the honest list.

ItemWhat I do
Customer passwordsA branded activation email so customers set a new one in one click
Saved payment cardsCustomers re-enter them at their next checkout
SubscriptionsMoved to Recharge or another subscription app
Product reviewsImported into a Shopify reviews app
Products with more than 3 optionsRestructured so they work within Shopify's limits
Tracking pixels and email flowsReconnected and tested on launch day
My promise

Four promises, in writing.

I know WooCommerce from the inside, and the person who quotes is the person who builds. Here's what I put in writing.

Your data is safe: NDA on request, a full backup before anything moves, and your data deleted from my systems after launch.

  • Fixed Price PromiseThe price in your audit is the price you pay. Nothing extra happens without your written OK.
  • Switch-back promiseIf launch day goes wrong, your WooCommerce store goes back live within the hour.
  • 30-day ranking watchI check Google Search Console daily for 30 days and fix any redirect issue I find.
  • 30 days of free fixesIf anything is missing or broken after the switch, I fix it at no charge.
My process

What I check on every migration.

The same checklist runs on every store, whether it's yours or an agency's client.

  1. Full backup of your WooCommerce files and database before anything moves
  2. Every plugin listed with the Shopify app or feature that replaces it
  3. Product, variant, customer and order counts matched before and after
  4. Every old URL mapped to a 301 redirect
  5. Payments, taxes and shipping tested with real orders
  6. Search Console checked daily for 30 days

Agency and white-label work

Trusted behind the scenes.

Agencies hire me to migrate their clients' WooCommerce stores to Shopify under their own name. Those projects are under NDA, so I can't publish them here.

What I can do: on a call, walk you through a real past migration step by step, with names removed, so you see exactly how yours will run.

Walkthrough call · 30 minutes

What I'll show you on the call

  • The audit and plugin-by-plugin plan from a real migration
  • How products, customers and orders were moved and checked
  • The redirect map, and how rankings held after launch
  • The launch-day checklist, step by step

Client and agency names are removed. Nothing is shared that the NDA covers.

Questions

Migration questions, answered.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Not if the redirects are done right. I keep your titles and descriptions and set up a 301 redirect for every old URL. Most stores see a small dip for 2 to 3 weeks while Google recrawls, then recover. I watch Search Console daily for 30 days and fix anything that slips. Read the SEO guide.

Will my store go offline during the move?

No. Your WooCommerce store keeps taking orders while I build and test the Shopify version. The domain only switches once you've approved it, and I sync any last orders before the switch.

Do customers need to reset their passwords?

Yes. Passwords can't be moved between platforms for security reasons. Customers get an email invite to activate their new account in one click.

What happens to my plugins?

In the audit I list every plugin you use and the Shopify app or built-in feature that replaces it, including subscriptions, reviews and email marketing.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on how many products, orders and custom features you have. You get a launch date in writing with your fixed quote. See how each phase runs.

How much does it cost?

A full migration starts at $1,495 for stores with up to about 1,000 products, and migration with a redesign starts at $3,495. That's about half what most agencies charge. The audit is free, and your fixed price arrives within one business day. See the full cost guide.
